5 Characteristics of the Most Super Successful People

In this article I’m going to share with you 5 of the most common characteristics I’ve noticed that all of the most super successful people seem to have.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence. Once you harness these characteristics you will probably start to see better results.

Most Successful People

1.) Visualization

The first thing that I’ve found from reading tons of books and listening to lots of audio is that successful people tend to always focus on what they want.

It’s almost as if having a burning desire to achieve or accomplish your goal mixed with visualization helps to make goals manifest and come to fruition.

Another key factor of proper visualization is to begin with the end in mind. Many of the most super successful people in history knew exactly what they wanted and had already seen the process through to completion in their mind.

Whatever it is that you want in life, I highly recommend that you take between 15 and 30 minutes each day to sit in complete silence with your eyes closed, and picture life as he would like it to be.

2.) Affirmations

Affirmations are also another trait of the super successful that I’ve noticed. In the last few years I’ve read hundreds of articles and books geared towards success and living a better lifestyle.

The one thing that I found in common among people who are superachievers is that they say what they want – out loud. They also say what they want in the present tense as though it’s already come to pass.

A mentor of mine who has earned millions in his lifetime told me to use “I am” statements.

An example of “I am” statements would look like this:

  • I am driving a Mercedes-Benz
  • I am buying my first house today
  • I am traveling whenever I want
  • I am healthier than I’ve ever been in my life

These are all examples of  ”I am” statements. You can learn a lot more about using affirmations by doing a simple YouTube search. There’s also some cool information about using affirmations from a guy named Noah St. John.

He also has a book called The Book of Afformations.

Get in the habit of using affirmations and I can guarantee that you will be in shock as the things that you speak about begin to manifest in your life.

3.) Goal Setting

Goal setting actually could have been number one. However, it is a known fact that most super-achievers do not only have goals, but they have their goals written down –  on paper – with a deadline attached.

To simply have a goal without it in writing is basically just a wish. To have a goal written on paper with no deadline is like having a goal with no faith that it can be accomplished.

The best way to write out your goals is to write your goals down on paper, attach a deadline to each individual goal, and write a list of things that you can begin doing immediately to help you accomplish your goals.

This is a pretty loaded subject that could stretch into many different blog posts alone, so to help you out I’ll refer you to one of my favorite books on goal setting called Goals by Brian Tracy.

4.) Crazy Insane Work Ethic

Visualization, affirmations, and goal setting are all cool… But until you have finally made the decision to take action all of the steps before this are irrelevant.

One thing common in super-achievers is that they are willing to work extremely hard in order to accomplish their goals.

The difference between the haves and the have-nots is not much of a difference at all. Both successful and unsuccessful people have things that they do not like to do. The only difference is that when an average person doesn’t want to do something, they don’t do it – or they make an excuse.

Whereas the super-achiever feels the same emotion in regards to what they didn’t want to do, but they found a way to force themselves to do it in spite of the fact it was something that they didn’t want to do.

In order to become super successful you will have to be willing to give up the things that you love the most. For most people the hardest thing for them to give up is sleep. If you want to be a super achiever you’re going to have to be willing to go to sleep late and wake up early.

It really boils down to your level of sacrifice.

How bad do you want it?

There’s another book that I read that I would highly recommend you reading that will motivate you to increase your work ethic. It’s called The 10X Rule by Grant Cardone.

5.) Personal Development

Finally, if you ever reach the levels of success that you desire, then I’m sure that you’d like to stay successful. If your plan is to maintain your success then you’re going to have to work on yourself.

Average people have big TVs, successful people have big libraries.

I heard that saying a long time ago but it does have some validity to it, don’t you agree?

Of course you do…

The Japanese have a word in their language called “kaizen”.

That word stands for “constant and never-ending improvement”. That’s what you need to focus on if your goal is to become successful, or if you’re trying to remain successful.

Successful people know that the process is never over. Those who reach high levels of success and start to feel like “they’ve arrived” are the ones who start to sabotage their own success and are forced to start over.

One good way to ramp up your personal development is to turn your car into “Drive Time University”. What I mean by this is instead of listening to music in your automobile, why not take that time and apply it to learning to become a master in your chosen field?

If you don’t like to read books, then just listen to audio books.

No excuses!

Whatever you want to achieve and accomplish… it’s possible!

I hope that you found some value in these five characteristics of the super successful.
